Terms of Service

Acceptance

These terms set out the basis on which The Eclipse House makes this site, and the pieces sold on it, available to you. By browsing, creating an account, or placing an order, you accept them in full — if any part doesn't sit right with you, please get in touch before ordering rather than after.

Orders & acceptance

Adding an item to your bag and checking out is an offer to buy, not a confirmed sale. A contract is formed only once we confirm dispatch by email. We may decline, cancel, or limit an order — for example where a piece is mis-priced, out of stock once demand is reconciled, or where we suspect fraud — and where payment has already been taken, we'll refund it in full.

Pricing & payment

All prices are shown in AED. VAT is not currently applied. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details. Title to the goods, and risk of loss, passes to you once payment has cleared and the order is confirmed.

Products

We describe and photograph every piece as faithfully as we can, including fabric, fit, and construction detail. Screen colours can vary slightly by device, and — because many of our fabrics are natural fibres — small variations in weave, drape, or dye lot between individual garments are normal and not considered a fault.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — photography, copy, the Eclipse House name and mark, and the site's design — is owned by The Eclipse House or used under licence, and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Please use the site as intended: no unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive use, no attempts to interfere with its security or operation, and no scraping or reuse of our content or catalogue data without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai.

Consumer rights preserved

Nothing here limits your statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its regulations — see our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges policy for how that applies in practice.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time as our business or the law changes — the version published here at the time of your order is the one that governs it. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
